We are looking for an Assistant Controller to assist with the management of the accounting department, assist with the preparation of financial statements, prepare and review regulatory reports, and review Bank policies, procedures and activities to ensure that financial records are accurate and timely. Ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar major and one year supervisory experience; two to three years experience in the application of generally accepted accounting principles preferred. Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license is highly desirable. Excellent communication and analytical skills are a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. Candidate must be capable of analyzing and interpreting documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government regulations.
Information Technology Manager
Experienced professional needed to manage the planning, development and delivery of the Bank’s information systems and services. Candidate will have a minimum of ten years related work experience in managing IT operations which include developing and implementing corporate IT policies and procedures, verifying conformance of IT systems with regulatory requirements, maintaining strong cybersecurity posture, and managing internal resources and third party vendors. The IT Manager will oversee a small staff to perform branch provisioning, network operations, project management, business continuity testing, vulnerability scanning and remediation, patching, ATM management, and desktop support. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and prior working experience with Microsoft operating systems, VMware virtualization, MS SQL Server, Azure and AWS cloud services. Prior knowledge of IT technologies such as virtualization, VDI, MDM, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, DLP, QOS, BGP, OSPF, APT and other cotemporary subjects related to mobile, cybersecurity and business continuity is useful. Candidate should have prior banking or financial institution experience and an understanding of applicable privacy laws and regulatory concerns (e.g., FFIEC, GLBA, SOX 404).
Electronic Funds Transfer Specialist – Downtown (Honolulu)
As an Electronic Funds Transfer Specialist, you will provide technical and operational assistance on Electronic Banking products (Automated Teller Machines (ATM), Check Cards, Automated Clearing House (ACH), and Transfer Management system (TMS)) to all bank personnel customers. Ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree or technical certification, Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) is preferred; one to three years related work or practical work experience in Electronic Banking Services; or equivalent combination of education/ experience. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, working knowledge of Word and Excel, and 10-key touch preferred. Candidate must be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, and work non-business hours when needed.
Branch Manager – Oahu, Maui
We have an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and aggressive individual with innovative ideas and the ability to generate residential mortgage loans! Ideal candidate will be a motivated professional with a proven sales record, have at least 3 – 5 years managerial and residential lending experience, and a bachelor’s degree in business management or related field from an accredited institution. New Accounts Sales and Services Representative – Downtown (Honolulu)
Under minimal supervision, assist customers with various retail and business products and services by providing product information, processing proper documentation, and cross selling appropriate Bank products and services. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public, have one year related work or practical experience and/or training in a banking environment preferably as a Teller and/or with opening new accounts, possess a valid driver’s license, have computer ability in a Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Word, ten-key by touch and moderate typing ability.
Senior Teller – Aina Haina, Ala Moana, Hawaii Kai, Manoa, Waipio
Under minimal supervision, assist the Operations Supervisor and Branch Manager with supervising and coordinating the activities of the Teller area. Process various financial transactions in a friendly, efficient, accurate and professional manner. Must have at least one to two years of financial institution experience, including six months as a Teller and six months related experience. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public. Computer experience, ten-key and typing ability desired.
Tellers – Kailua, Kauai (P/T), Kihei, Nuuanu, Pearl City
Under moderate supervision processes various financial transactions in a friendly, efficient, accurate and professional manner. High school degree or GED and previous experience in cash handling or customer service required. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public. Computer experience, ten-key and typing ability desired. Part-Time Tellers must be flexible and able to work 19 hours per week.
Relief Teller – Oahu
Relief Tellers provide full-time Teller support to bank branches on the island of Oahu. Based out of our Kahului branch on the island of Maui, the Maui Relief Teller provides full-time Teller support to the bank’s Kahului, Kihei and Lahaina branches. Processes various financial transactions in a friendly, efficient, accurate and professional manner. High school degree or GED and previous experience in cash handling or customer service required. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public. Computer experience, ten-key and typing ability desired. Qualified applicants must be flexible, have their own transportation and be able to work at various locations, including neighbor island branches. Relief Tellers earn a salary differential and mileage reimbursement.
Post-Closing Quality Control Specialist- Loan Servicing
Under minimal supervision, verifies the existence and accuracy of mortgage loans made by the Bank and assures underwriting of loans is in compliance with Regulatory/Government Agencies and in accordance with the Bank’s Pre-Closing and Post Closing Quality Control Policies and Procedures. Must have an Associate’s degree or higher, five years related work or practical experience and/or training in mortgage loans or branch operations within a financial institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication skills, working knowledge of Word and Excel, and 10-key by touch preferred. Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of banking regulations with respect to banking operations and able to analyze, interpret, solve problems and make sound decisions that require interactions and development of relationships with the branch system and other departments.
Provides administrative, technical and compliance related support to the Bank’s branch personnel, and effectively documents policies and procedures for the Branch Administration Division. High school degree or GED and one to three years related work or experience in general banking or branch operations. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public. Computer experience in a Windows environment, working knowledge of Word and Excel, moderate typing ability, and 10-key by touch required.
